An International Fellowship of Spirit-Empowered Believers

I dreamed a couple of months ago and have puzzled over this ever since. I welcome input.

I was in a family? group. i slid between two fences that met and I began running across a field. It was glorius, free running fun. I ran clear across the field, slanting from SE to NW, almost straight line, bounding and never turing. I came to the edge of the field, there was like a tunnel, (hte tunnel didn't go clear through, it was a dead end) a big tunnel with huge doors. I was curious, so I opened the door wider and went in. I started walking down the tunnel and I could see in the dim light a couple of men and a couple of young boys, like 12 years old and I said or wondered, what are you doing with those boys and I sensed total evil, they were all involved in and danger to me for seeing and knowing. I turned and started trying to run, my feet felt weighed with lead. i gained the outside of the entrance and still trying to run and them getting closer every second. I am in the edge of the field and finally get a scream out, hellllllllllllp, long drawn out, I am totally sickened with the evil, what they were doing, and terrified. I'm thinking, hoping that the man clear across the field that was with me will hear and come rescue me. It's like I stumble, fall, and as I am falling, I wake up. It's like when I first squeezed through the fence, I was disapproved of in going through the fence. End of dream.

Speaking for my self, I loved the old form of conventional song and such, but when I grew spiritually, I grew out of religiosity of singing some of the songs that are not scriptural correct any way. I actually could worship longer than the 30 min.'s to an hour... You see, that is where Miracles are birthed. In His presence...

I saw a video on You tube called drive through church. It really describes people well. It may be some what funny, but heart wrenching that people really go to church for the wrong reason.

There is a right pyridine to fit every persons need. And there is a church on every corner...so to speak. Just finding the right one for your need is all it would take to make you happy. Make sure what ever church you pick that you follow the vision of the house. After all, that is why God put Pastors over us.

I ask you to just give it a try....and stay yielded in the presence of God a little longer; so the LORD can saturate you with His presence. Worship Him and give Him the praise he is due. But if you just ain't ready for more of the LORD, it would be best for you to find a pyridine that does fit your need.

It really sound like the LORD is stretching you as you grow in the LORD. Stretching hurts.... but the rewards are great! I have seen where the LORD wants to take you through your dreams. Trust me, struggle against where the LORD is trying to take you in His Spirit, and you will continual to have these type dreams till you surrender to His will. You belong to Jesus. it is no longer our will be done, but His will be done. you may not think this new worship style is for you. Enter in His presence and He will respond back to you in ways you never knew.
Amazing discussion! I'd like to suggest for you to read Graham Cook's book on Divine Confontation before you make a move...it's the best revelatory book i've ever read on transition (personal and corporate) and closure...remember the way you leave a situation is the way you enter the next!

Blessings as you continue to yeild to God's leading!

I'm interested in checking that book out. Karen, I would love to hear about the angelic visitations that came to you and your boys. I have been wanting to have my spirit eyes open to see one. How awesome that is.
I would love to share my expereinces with you Wendy!...shall we start another discussion?

To me true worship is not what you feel or even what you do, although some things of what you do may be because it is an act of the heart, true worship is what you are and out of that, come acts of pure worship. I see many who are closed to others, holding resentments, etc. of which I know about and yet feel that they are truly worshiping God as they sing and are emotionally moved.

True worship in new styles doesn't make me sick inside. Probably I should have clarified what I wrote, in a better way.

That song titled "The Heart of Worship" comes to mind. Sometimes even the worship teams seem to become a show for the audience instead of a display of affection for the Lord. And like you said there are songs that make you feel good and people are just enjoying singing them and I'm not saying that that's bad, but it is important to have your heart in the right place ...focused on Jesus. And, good point with what you said about true worship bears the fruit of true worship acts. If we are truly worshiping the Lord then we will find ourselves in His presence and in His presence I believe we will be moved to not hold on to resentment towards others and want to treat others the way He wants us to.

Verse 1:
When the music fades
All is stripped away
And I simply come
Longing just to bring
Something that's of worth
That will bless Your heart

Bridge:
I'll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You're looking into my heart

Chorus:
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it
When it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus

Verse 2:
King of endless worth
No one could express
How much You deserve
Though I'm weak and poor
All I have is Yours
Every single breath

Bridge:
I'll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You're looking into my heart

Chorus:
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it
And it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus

Chorus:
I'm coming back to the heart of worship,
And it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it
When it's all about You,
It's all about You, Jesus
Karen,
I have been reading parts of that book that you suggested by going to Google and looking at the book preview that is available on line and it is exactly on point with what we've been discussing here with Barbara's dream. I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing.
That sounds great Wendy!

The book is pact with insights and revelation...its interesting how i read it a few years ago and saw things there applicable to my then situation and re-reading it i'm gleaning new truths!
