How did JESUS grow in favor with GOD and man.

I asked the LORD how HE grew in favor with man and GOD. This is what i journaled.

My son, as you walk the paths I light for you, and obey the commands i give to you. you will find MY PLEASURE in you brings blessings. You will find that MY REJOICING over you brings you MY FAVOR. as you yield to ME and obey ME you will grow in favor with ME and mankind.This is how JESUS grew in favor with man and ME. In this I will show you who to trust and who not to trust. Who to minister to and who not to minister to. Those who walk in darkness and those who walk in the LIGHT. My favor will come in ways that will astound you. Obey ME, MY SON, and see what happens when i am pleased with MY CHILDREN.

Strong's concordance says favor is

1) grace

a) that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness: grace of speech

2) good will, loving-kindness, favour

a) of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

I believe that JESUS pleased the FATHER by obeying HIM (Keeping the law) which results in a relationship with an intimate relationship with the FATHER. Our obedience to the FATHER pleases HIM and mankind recognizes a particular difference or spirit about the LORD and even us. You could say JESUS was charming and likable. Remember where the people noticed that JESUS talked with authority? The relationship with the FATHER is what brought about that authority. This is why it is important to have intimacy with the LORD.Spending time meditating on HIS word to learn of HIM. What moves HIM, what pleases HIM, what makes HIM joyful. Through intimacy with the LORD i have understood about HIS love. I believe it is impossible to spend time with JESUS and not come away with something you didn't have before. It is like being in HIS presence HE deposits a part of HIM in you, like HE rubs off on you.

You could say the people and GOD were delighted in JESUS.

I have learned the more time i spend with the LORD the more I become like HIM. the less time I spend in intimacy with HIM the less I am like HIM. Not only are we transformed by the renewing of our minds, but I have been transformed by just spending time in intimacy with the LORD worshipping HIM, praying, seeking HIS will, and just resting in HIS presence.

the reason I asked this question is because somebody told me the other day that I was growing in favor before God and man.This statement puzzled me .So I see by your answers that what they see is not me but that they see more of Jesus in me .Am I following the right train of thought?

Amen brother,

I had a dream where i was at a dating company. there were women in a line in front of me. they would come up and talk to me and loved the spirit within me. Then I was like 10 feet tall in front of the women. then I started looking for body spray in my room saying, I need that same fragrance.

the dream was me growing in the LORD. The women loved the fragrance of JESUS. And i was warned not to turn to man made things to grow in the LORD but the HOLY SPIRIT.

YOu are on the right track.
