Positively sick over something that is happening to a friend that is the exact opposite of what we all thought God said was going to happen.

Is there something I can pray about for you?
I don't even know how to ask you to pray.
Thank you so much for offering. Prayer definitely appreciated.
Although I don't know what it is you and your friend are going through, remember that even though you may be confused He isn't. His ways are higher than ours and He has the perspective of seeing the situation from the beginning to the end and He is in control. I will pray for His perfect will because we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

19 to deliver them from death
and keep them alive in famine.

20 We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.

Psalm 33:18-20

May He bless you today, and I am praying.
Yep. Thanks for sending up prayers for my friends. This is a very difficult time for them. You can pray for me, that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading...sometimes, words just don't cut it. Sometimes, we just need to love on people. I don't understand, "But I trust in Your unfailing love." ~ Psalm 13:5 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him." ~ Romans 8:28 "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher." ~ Hebrews 12:2 Thanks, Wendy.
Just wanted to say thanks for the prayers. The Lord says this was the enemy, but He's still in control and said some very reassuring things to me. Thanks!
That is so good to hear. I had a similar situation where I knew God said He was gonna do something and things took a turn for the worst (the opposite of what He said would happen). But for some reason, in that particular situation, I kinda knew things would get bad before we saw improvement and full recovery. Maybe He hinted that to me and I didn't realize it. Anyway, trying times are good opportunities for our faith to be tested; we just need to keep standing on what He says. He is faithful. Keep pressing in.
