Trying to Destroy My Heritage

Good Morning All, I would like to share a dream that I had on 12/07/2011 and would greatly appreciate help in understanding the dream. the dream was as though I was walking down a hall or corridor of a school ( this is the feeling I had that I was in a school ) and I was walking with this caucasian male person and we were walking and talking as though everything was fine and friendly between us. We then stopped in the corridor area and he looked passed me and gave a "go ahead" nodding signal with his head to 2 other caucasian males and they came up to me and one of them attacked me by sticking me in my chest with something like a small dart the dart was slightly stinging and burning and I grab the dart and pulled it out and when I did these 3 tall, big, African males came up to fight against the 3 caucasin males and the taller African American male said to the caucasian males " you trying to destroy her heritage" and he has a club or bat in his hand and the 3 caucasian males run away and as I lay on the ground trying to get up I was clutching very hard in my hand the dart, I had the feeling I should keep it to show what they used to attack me and one of the caucasian males that ran away sneaked back and tried very hard to get it out of my hand but he couldn't so he left. I got up off the ground and as I was walking around and looking I saw in the dream people laying on the ground dead and some prop against walls dead. and I then woke up. I awoke very disturbed about the people that I saw laying around and prop against walls dead they were all African american males and females and could not understand what the message of "trying to destroy my heritage" meant... I looked up "Heritage" and one definition that agreed with my spirit was "something reserved for one: the heritage of the righteous." Anyone has any suggestions or insight for me about this dream I would really welcome it..

I am drawing a blank, but maybe with a few questions we can figure it out together.

Is there anything going on with you regarding race issues or prejudice right now? Or maybe someone is challenging something your are entitled to (inheritance/profit/honor/respect/membership/a position/ a privilege/ or validation of some sort)?

Good Morning Louise, thank you so much for your insightful help after reading your reply my spirit automatic jumped within me especially the challenging part. I have been feeling challenged by somethings in my life respect, new position, lawsuit..anymore of your wonderful insights is greatly appreciated as for race issues none that I dwell on or feel any personal threaten or emotional issues from. I will pray on what you suggested to see what the Lord will open up to me but I can then share them with you.

Linda,

Are you an African-American business woman in a mostly Caucasian business world climbing the ladder to new authority and success, but.....finding out that perhaps the male caucasian who you thought was friendly was deceitful and lead you into a trap with 2 other caucasian males or is trying to change you to be more "like them" -- therefore losing your heritage or stealing it/killing it -- heritage being African-American roots. Could the dead bodies of African-Americans laying around be those who went before you and were shot down or not successful in climbing this ladder (business world). Assuming my first sentence is correct (not sure) do you feel you are having to change your heritage in order to be successful.... with the threat of those dead bodies before you warning you that if you don't it will be like the others who have failed? If any of this is meaning something to you, I encourage you to stand tall and not be swayed by those who have failed before you.

Just had another thought, I don't know you, but is it possible that you are struggling between two ethnic worlds - Caucasian and African American and you have roots in both and are feeling pressured to chose one and kill the other? That would be hard if you identify with both. In your dream the help comes from the African males (safety/security) but it is also where you see the most destruction before you which may be intimidating if you are now in a part of your life where there are more Caucasians than African-Americans.
