It could be…what instantly came to my mind upon reading these words was the situation with Gideon. He had way too many men in his army for God to receive the glory so he used their position at the watery hole to help with the selection process. Those who put their face in the water were eliminated and those who lapped the water by putting their hand to their mouth were chosen. Gideon’s army was reduced to a few which allowed God to fight their battle and gain the victory who ultimately received all the glory. Is God calling you to “get down on one knee”, figuratively speaking, which would allow Him to fight your battle and gain the glory!
This could also be a call of readiness or a position of the attitude of the heart, as bending on one knee speaks of humility and service.. You’ll know the right interpretation by the witness you feel in your heart.
Getting down on one knee usually is something you see or is done when someone is before a King. Perhaps it means to submit your self before the L-rd. What has changed to put a block between you and G-d that you have not heard from him. Remove the block
thanks for the replies!
I think it has to do with service based on something I read online..I was searching about what it meant.
I also think may have to do with submission. ( I haven't been submissive as I should).
Also I really do need to let God give me the victory over sin instead of trying to do it on my own.
