Hi Mark,

I would like to Thank You so much for allowing God to use your life experiences to bless others, through Communion with God my life has been so radically changed. I gave my life to the Lord in 1999 and for years I kept on telling the Lord that I wanted a closer relationship with Him. I never knew that I could have daily conversation with the Lord, He would speak to me through dreams and sometimes He would show me things throughout the day; but I am so grateful that I can ask questions and talk to Him and know that I am going to get an answer. In taking the class He dealt with so many areas in my life, things that I had burried. I can't wait to take my next class, I am quite excited.

I started the Communion With God Course... and I keep going back to it to try and finish it. I started listening to the 7 Prayers That Heal the Heart CD's, and have not finished those either. Would you please pray for me - I need help to focus, maybe a healing in my brain. I pray and talk with the Lord all day long but I also want to JOURNAL everyday. I don't want to be afraid of hearing my own voice. I'm embarrassed to post this here.. but maybe others have felt the same way. Thank you for your prayers.

Hi Marlene, this same thing happened to me in the beginning. I would find myself making up an excuse as to why I shouldn't take the time to get through the book or do my lesson. I was also not hearing God's voice into my spirit and I was really frustrated! I remember sending Pauline a message asking her why I was having such a difficult time and she just told me to set my mind to continue to try because we can all journal and we can all hear His voice. Let the enemy know that you are not going to give up! He will try anything to sway you from hearing God's voice. Keep trying, keep reading the chapter on stillness, it is very important to learn to still yourself and your mind. You will get there my friend! I will pray for you! God Bless you.

Wow... after reading your journaling, Jenn, I never would have thought you had any problems hearing God's voice! Thank you for sharing that with me, it is very encouraging... and thank you for your prayers.. I so much appreciate them!

Hi Marlene! I just enrolled and may encounter the same issue...

I have tried something in the past that has worked and it is that whenever the thought comes that "I should ____.", but I just can't, I pray a quick prayer out loud. I figured if it were the enemy and every time he tried this I prayed, he'd give up. "Evil, back away from every person in the whole world who is crying out to God right now."

If there is no change, then I knew it was me, so then I'd pray out loud for myself! "Lord, there is something going on, will You help me please?"

I find I pray these prayers a lot more anyway now when not having problems!

Works for me, so far!

Dear Marlene, don`t be discouraged, surely a prayer may help, but why don´t you ask the Lord to edify you by the power of the Holy Spirit as you present your 5 senses as a living sacrifice to Jesus, instead of trying to keept the focus by your own power.Commuion with God teaches exactly how to not be afraid of hearing your own voice, press through, toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ! You say that you pray and talk all day with the Lord - in order to hear God`s voice we have to talk less, let him speak in every way, this you will also find in the course Communion with God. See, if you speak all day long, guess what you will hear all day long - your own voice, unless you speak or read the word of God which becomes alive.Concerning journaling - this takes time, be patient, if you press though the course you will understand,it is exactly explained what can go wrong with journaling besides lack of stillnes. You determine if your journaling is true by sharing it with a couple of spiritual firends and asking them if their hearts bear witness that this came from God.

Communion with God course has been instrumental in enhancing my walk with the Lord. I never knew God could talk so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My life will never be the same. I went from hearing God sporadically to daily. Journaling is so life changing. I am constantly telling people about being intimate with God. Since journaling unhealthy attitudes about God have now dissipated. God constantly tells me about taking on His mind and renewing my mind with His word. My journey of journaling began in March 09 and 6 months later journaling is going strong. My mind gets blown at God's sense of humor. Thank you Dr Virkler for your revelation allowing God to use you in helping God's children discern the voice of God.
From this one class I am persevering towards a Masters in Christian Counseling. God is awesome. Prior to taking the class God said to me one morning La Donna I want you to abide in Me. I thought I was but after the class now I know I am. I am taking my next class. Again thanks.
