Does anyone know the roots to allergies, and how the enemy uses allergies against us?  I have been fighting allergies all my life, I am greatly improved, but I want a complete healing.  Any knowledge would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Mark 9:29 (King James Version) And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

May the Lord Our Healer completes His healing on you.
Hi Jeana,
I found this on a website called Life Application Ministries. This particular link shows the spiritual root to all kinds of diseases http://www.mindsync.com/lam/root.htm

Here is what it says on allergies:
All allergies are rooted in fear, anxiety and stress. Compromised (broken) immune system. Something happened to cause this person to be broken to the point of almost no return. Took a long time to get over… "A merry heart does good like a medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones" Allergies are connected with the bone marrow being dried up! Medically proven. It is not because a person is reacting to a chemical or smell. It doesn’t show up on a RAS test. Compromised immune system here. Some people believe it’s because they have been exposed to too many chemicals. That is a lie! What broke the system are long-term fear and anxiety and stress. When you have a compromised immune system, you’ll have allergies. Long term fear and anxiety and stress will destroy your immune system. When you have a breakdown in this area, you may be allergic to more than one thing, this is a phobic disease and panic attacks are associated with it. Deut 28:65-68 – Anxiety comes to one who does not fear the Lord. Separation between us and God – the sin of unforgiveness.

My kids all suffer greatly with allergies, so I would love to know how to go about fighting this spiritually.
I disagree to this Statement above I am allergic to pollen, certain times of the year, I have no stress, no anxiety, no dry bones, no panic attacks.I have been fasting the other day, and this caused weakness to my immune system and got a cold, yes satan will attack anybody, don`t label people, Its a pentecostal lie, Yes sickness comes from satan. Dont believe what others are saying, Let the Holy Spirit guide you in these matters. I have a little bit of arthritis in my Knees, is it because, I have bitterness in my heart? that`s what some Pentecostals label you with.I wonder what will my ten year old GS dog Rocky thinks about this He got arthritis he is old so am I. Drink A lot of water that helps for Arthritis

Thanks everyone for the food for thought. I have fasted and prayed many times, that may be why I continue to improve. I don't remember being afraid as a child, I have always been rather bold, and never had a fear of the dark or anything like that. I do deliverance on other people and I have no fear of demonic spirits which often frighten others. I have always felt like I was protected from a lot of things that bothered other people. The Lord used my seeking healing to move me from a Baptist back ground to the fullness of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the gifts of the Spirit flowing. So, God has truly caused all things to work together for good. I see that God has used the allergies to cause me to live a life in which I seek to protect and honor the temple of my body, no doubt in a much fuller way than I would of had I not battle allergies. My parents say I was born with allergies, and they don't know any form of deep stress that I went through. So, I think this discussion is good, and I appreciate the viewpoints, but I think we have not found the real root cause yet. By the way I realize the Dr.'s say allergies are immune system break downs, but I seem to be very healthy otherwise and rarely get sick.
So, keep talking! More ideas are welcome!
Thanks,
Jeana
I agree that anything and everything spiritual we read or hear about should be confirmed by the Holy Spirit somehow. But it is also good to test the ideas out by asking the Lord first before dismissing them so we don't miss anything. And Jeana, it seems like that's what you are doing so if you do find out what opened the door for you (maybe generational since you said you were born with allergies) please post it, because like I said my children suffer from them as well.
Wendy,
I am not trying to dismiss anything without testing it. I but I have been working at this for many long years and some of the suggestions are things that I have personally covered extensively already. I have not left any stone unturned, and I don't feel the Lord leading me to go back over those things again. that is not to say that they may not be the root of the problem for someone else, just not in my particular case. I have journaled about generational curses and been through extensive deliverance with well seasoned deliverance workers (over 100 years between them) and I don't believe that is my issue. I have had generational curses (depression and suicide) that were destroyed in the name of Jesus, and completely changed my life, to the glory of God. So, I am not discounting the value of destroying generational curses, that just isn't the problem in this particular case.
But thanks so much for your concern. I realize you don't know me, and had no way of knowing the extent of the work that has been done, and from your prespective it could easily appear that I was dismssing things too easily. So, I really appreciate your concern.
Jeana
Actually, I wasn't thinking you were dismissing anything at all. You're right, I don't know you, but what I have read about you and your comments suggest to me that you know what you are doing, and I believe that you WILL get the answers to the questions you seek. That is why I am asking you to pass on anything you know, because I would like to learn from you. God Bless!
Whoops! Sorry I miss understood what you meant, I guess that is part of the joy of email type conversations, had we been in person I would have had your tone of voice and facial expression to help me understand you. My apologies for miss understanding.
So, I guess I can tell you my personal testimony of the allergy battle.
I was raised on a farm. My father smoked when I was a child. Cigerette smoke, diesal fumes and soybean dust are still some of the things that irritate my nose, and I have a hayfever like reaction to them. I could not breath through my nose as a child. When I was 18 I had polps removed from my nasal passages, this was a huge help in breathing, they never came back although some people have them return. I also underwent allergy tests where they pricked my skin. Feathers were a big problem too, but we already knew that and they are pretty easy to avoid. Although I did stay in a hotel room once with feather pillows and I had trouble breathing, the only time I ever had asthma type sysmptoms.
I took allergy shots for several years, they helped some, not too much.
When I was 36 I was invited to a spirit filled church, (had been Baptist prior to that) I went so they could pray for healing of the allergies. They lay hands on my and prayed for allergies, I got delivered of suicide and depression instantly and permenantly. Went off antidepressants cold turkey with no problems.
Allergy symptoms began to decrease, but they weren't totally gone. One of my teachers told me that "apparently suicide and depression were opening the door for the allergies that is why when they prayed for allergy healing those two had to leave." So, there seems to be a connection between the them, or at least there was for me.
Perfume was a huge problem because the church ladies wore it. I could not go to church for about 7 years, I would go to Sunday School, and I had to ask the ladies in my class to not were perfume. Then I would try to go to church and either be sick, or take a pill that made me sleep. It was not fun, this also ended when they prayed and now perfume does not bother me.
However, diesal fumes still make my vision get dim and I see flashing lights. An antihisiamine clears this up quickly so we know it is a reaction. Also during the last five years I have figured out that nuts cause me muscle pain and swelling. No nuts=no pain. The reaction is somewhat like fibermyalga, I swell and am stiff in whatever muscle was being used. It can be around joints, or not, it is a combination of exercise and nuts that makes it be in different parts of my body according to what I was doing when exposed. I have found that high doses of Vitamin C (like 6000 units every 2 hours) really helps take this swelling and pain out of my body. Antihistamines don't touch it, ibuprofen only numbs it, but does not remove it. But the Vit. C really helps.
Then in the last year I have had 4 times that I have been eating and my face has swollen up and looked like I had the mumps. My nose ran a lot once, until I became ill and vomited, then the nose stopped running completely, but the swelling lasted three days. Last week it happened again, no runny nose, but swelling and pain in jaws. I fasted for three days and the swelling went down. Vit. C didn't help. I had been eating a salad, (which I had the same thing the day before with no problem--go figure).
So, I am trying to understand this new developement. This led me to ask the question that started this discussion.
Deliverance and binding up the enemy has helped me a lot, but it hasn't cured the problem. I am hoping Dr. Pam will have some insight.
Thanks, for asking, if you have any questions feel free to ask,
Jeana
I'm so glad you understand what I posted, I reread it and totally see how it sounded the way you took it. I try to be so careful with how I write and I still mess up. :) Anyway, you have quite a story! Wow. I'm glad you mentioned the feather pillow. My oldest son has bad allergies, but after hearing your problems, they don't seem so bad. He's just constantly sneezing and sniffling and has itchy eyes. Anyway, he sleeps on a down pillow, so I will try switching his pillow and see if that helps him at all even though he does have them throughout the day also. I am just in amazement of God and how he's cured you from so much of them. I will be praying for your complete healing as well.
Thanks for the prayers, and I am glad we understand each other now too! I'll keep adding information as it unfolds. I read up today in a friends book about how they believe fear, stress, and anxiety play a roll in allergies. But I can't get that to fit for me I had no fears as a child, little stress or anxiety. I seemed to be born with allergies, so I am wondering if maybe I picked up on something that happened to my mom during pregnancy. I think I'll ask her, I know she was ill during the pregnancy and had a back ache a lot, that is about all I know.
So, I'll pray for your son's allergies too.
Jeana
I see them as toxicities within the body.

Dr. Pam, the natural path my family goes to, can provide a homeopathic which normalizes the body and balances the body so the allergies disappear. We have seen it happen with members of our family. She can treat from a distance. She charges. I believe it is $100 first contact and $50 after that. to schedule an appointment, call her at 716 - 655 2390.
Thanks!
