The other morning I was preparing for my day, and I was standing on my back porch putting my laundry on the line. I was thinking about my day. I had someone coming over to receive ministry, I was planning to use PTHTH; I was expecting to see the Lord do something powerful and to see God dramatically set this man free. - A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here
- I began as a student of CLU around 2003 (or so) and have taken several of their courses. I began with Communion with God, and since I have taught that class twice to small groups at church and in my home. I have just finished teaching Prayers That Heal the Heart in my home. I have been involved in inner healing and deliverance in some manner for 11 years or so. I have never seen such good results as I did in this course. We really did see people get healed of many things. I enjoy doing this course in 12 weeks so that you can create a community of healing instead of quick weekends. I really believe that a community of people praying for one another is very good to facilitate healing in the whole person. It allows people to develope trusting and supportive relationships which is often missing in people from broken backgrounds.
I am about to teach this class again in Oct. in another town in our province and I am excited to use several people from my last class as facilitators for this new class. There are a few committed people from that desire to apprentise with me so they can eventually pray for people on their own. My heart is to see a team of trained lay ministers raised up to bring healing to the body. This has been missing in our area. I remember when I first realized how much healing I needed years ago, and the help just wasn't here. I needed to travel to get the help I needed.
CLU has been a life saver to me and I so appreciate the course that I took; they didn't just teach information, but a life style of learning to hear from God and walk in what he says.
