"Thanks, Deborah. True, treasures are for those who seek. The joy of learning something new about God is part of the dynamics of Koinonia. As we share, we learn; and as we learn, we know; in knowing is growing. If the hart panteth not, he will never…"

"In writing the Bible the purpose of the authors was to convey exactly what God wanted them to convey and therefore the words they chose to use were very precise as to the meaning. So is the word ‘Koinonia’ wherever it is used. Intimate…"

A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here
Thank you for stopping by.

To tell you about me… Well, I am open-minded. I do not feel obliged to subscribe to generally held beliefs; and I am all for new ideas, I give them a fair checkout and weigh them against the absolutes (as God has made and ordained them) before deciding either way about them. I venerate the wisdom of the ancients but I believe that traditions and customs, in as much as they impinge upon the liberty we have in Christ, can sometimes come in the way of living life to the full.

I value relationships. friendships wherein is integrity, truthfulness, caring and compassion: people loyal and true to one another other; and wherein, within the premises of their commitment to each other they allow each one their space, that each, helped by the other, may grow to their full potential in Christ—“until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. And to this I have been applying myself all my life. I would have us realize that there is a ‘baptism to be baptized with’ for each one of us.

Automobiles, architecture and interior design, computers, education, these form the background of my professional exposure. The focus of my life has been on helping good people become better people, that they in turn may produce the best people we have a round us to work with. Besides I have also been engaged in community and livelihood development endeavors. My heart goes out to people who are underprivileged, underserved, exploited and hurting. In India you find them everywhere. I try to do whatever I can, wherever, to put meaning into their lives—that they may know, love and live for God who created them in His own image and is so keenly interested in each one of them.

On Christian service: I’d like to share a thought here—‘Sowers go out to sow, but it occurs to very few of us to first clear the stones, rid the place of thorns and break up the fallow ground: in ourselves first, then for others.

On a personal level, I love music, travel, adventure; quiet moments. I am curious about the way God made things. I love exciting and emotional experiences—thunderstorms; standing on the prow a ship as it cuts through the sea; pets: seeing wild life close-up, a powerful song, a warm embrace… putting a smile in the eyes of some hurting soul.

May God bless you.
