Is there an ending for every beginning? Yet endings are usually followed by another beginning. Does this seem like an endless cycle to you, in which one lesson follows another, and one grade follows another, and the same is true for trials and character refinement? Yet this is not an endless cycle, but a progression, for the beginnings are new, and they constitute additional progress from your initial starting point. My dealings with you move forward according to a definite purpose and plan. Do…See More

Curriculum

In most schools material is presented according to a curriculum. This organizes a complex course of study into individual lessons. There is too much to assimilate all at once, but the curriculum divides it into manageable pieces. If properly designed they build upon one another to provide an overall picture and result. I deal with you the same way. I have much to teach you but you are not able to bear it all at once. Do you encounter daily ‘lessons’ that don’t seem to fit into a big picture?…See More

The beauty of the Lord

One thing have I desired of the Lord, to behold the beauty of the Lord. Your culture has a strong but distorted sense of beauty. The dominance of romantic notions makes it difficult for you to understand spiritual beauty, and men in particular are awkward about acknowledging my beauty. I had no form or comeliness that men should desire me, but there is a spiritual beauty that transcends physical beauty. In this manner I am attractive beyond comprehension and those who know this by faith will…See More

Work for Jesus

Do you do your best work for your boss? Are you aware that you are really working for me? My word warns against eye-service for the purpose of pleasing men. Do you view it as a burden to be called to a higher level of diligence? Yet isn’t it more satisfying and rewarding to be engaged and productive than to just appear to be that way? Isn’t it easier as well? I invite all those who labor and are heavy laden to come to me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. This principle applies if you…See More

Message

Are you alarmed by times of economic crisis? These are widespread and painfully obvious, but they start in a way that is subtle and unobserved. They start as a crisis of faith and values. When people lose a sense of identity and the things that really matter, they will give undue influence to other things and accumulate status symbols and indulge themselves on the ill-advised use of credit. There will never be enough stuff to satisfy those who don’t know what they are looking for, but the bills…See More

Flow of the Spirit

Have you ever had times of high creativity and effectiveness, when every decision you made was correct and timed properly for action? Did progress seem to come easily in this condition? To what did you attribute this time of high ability? Many people refer to this as flow. You have my promise that if you come to me and abide in me that rivers of living water will flow forth from your innermost being. It is no accident that the same terminology is used. Perhaps you have been in the flow of my…See More

Daily Word

Part of my great commission is to go and make disciples of all men. Who did this for you? You can probably recall someone who took an interest and put some effort into your spiritual development. Perhaps there were several. Evangelists like to count conversions, but my word says that one planted and another watered. These are all essential functions in the process of bringing forth the harvest. What you have learned you can teach. Freely you have received, freely give back. Ask of me and I will…See More

daily word

Do you ever feel that you are under attack? You have a real adversary. He complained that I set a hedge of protection around Job that thwarted his attacks. I reduced the level of protection, but in a measured and limited way for a specific interval. This was not to prove something to the adversary, but to prove Job. You have the same adversary and the same protection, and I will do the same for you. Do you feel overwhelmed by your trials? I control this process and watch it carefully, and you…See More

A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here
My name is Dale Cresap and I have attended New Life Assembly of God in Idaho Falls for 23 years. I hold no office or title, but I hear from Jesus as he said that his sheep would hear his voice. What he tells me I write down and send on to a mailing list of about 150 people. These messages are of a general nature to encourage believers and illuminate and expound biblical principles, not to provide specific guidance for individuals.

Ransomed

Have you ever heard stories of kidnapped children? These are heart-rending and inevitably traumatic for the children, but no matter how much they have suffered, the parents always want them back. Am I not a better father than any on earth? If fathers in this world will give their children bread rather than stones and serpents, how much more will I give good things to those who ask me? You are my child. Have you been kidnapped by the adversary? No matter how much trauma and abuse you have…

Satisfaction

Do you look for satisfaction in everything you do? If you are hungry you can eat until you are satisfied, and this is a good place to stop, but not everyone does. There are many areas of your life in which the right amount is necessary and beneficial but to continue is detrimental. Some appetites are inherently insatiable and no amount will quite be enough. My word speaks of liberty. Do you think of this only as freedom from boundaries imposed from without? It applies to an even greater…

Hello Dale,

My name is George Anamolga. I am a new member of Koinonia network and as I was scanning through the writings of other members I fortunately came accross your Daily words which struck me so positively that I think I should stop by and read them daily.
Thanks for the good work you are doing. They blend well in my heart.
This is indeed great stuff!!!

Hi Dale

Your daily words are very powerful and encouraging. I am just reading John Bevere's book - Eternity - and God seems to be speaking similar words to you. It is wonderful when He brings confirmation from different sources, isn't it...

Blessings - Judi

I am new here. I started using the workbook "Hearing God's Voice" after receiveing prayer ministry back in March of this year. The prayer minister felt strongly impressed that I have been hearing God's voice for a very long time, and that I needed to come to a better understanding of my gifts. It was also felt that I should become a part of an inner healing ministry. I can honestly say that nothing as ever felt so "right" in all of my life. I have been receiving e-mails from Mark Virkler's ministry for some time, but had never noticed this site. When I first came here this morning, I started reading your blog posts, and the hair on my arms stood up...I knew you were hearing God's voice! Thank you for sharing what you hear. I look forward to reading more of what God has to say via your fingers on the keyboard! Be encouraged! Blessings, Lisa

Thank you Dale. If no one invites me as a friend I quess I'll have none. I mean it is probably a small thing to do but I don't know how to invite anyone. Maybe just too tired most of the time to focus--I don't know.

Your Blogs are so wonderful and I look forward to reading them. I will check them every so often to see what you are talking about. You know , " Whata ya talking about!! "
Just playing around Dale. Later! Love, Amber
