When we accept Christ as our Savior we now there's something different inside because God's spirit has been quickened within us as we had an implant of the DNA of the Creator of the Universe. Our spirit is now resting in all the joy it was designed to have. We want to know all about God and the Bible and Jesus and how to please Him.

When I was approaching my 60th birthday it wasn't a comfortable feeling. I've always felt 20 in my mind and spirit, but this body struggling with rheumatoid arthritis and a few other health issues refused to agree with my mind. Turning 60 seemed to be a message that my mind should get in agreement with my body ... but I decided it was a better choice to get my mind and spirit in control and let the body respond more favorably. It…

I continue to realize that I've known a lot about Jesus and the Scriptures, but I have not been totally dead to self. Life is a daily battle for all of us and if we choose to fight it in the soul and body without the spirit ruling, we will more likely feel beat up and bent out of shape each night as we lay down to a restless sleep.…

I am in Phoenix with my partents and I am thinking of you and your love for nature. The desert is a fascinating place, kinda like other worldly-all the plants are ones never seen before!
Prayers that Heal will be my next class I believe. I am so excited by Mark's material. If a day goes by with no reading of Mark's books, I find myself longing to read.
My health is so much better as I have received prayers from several people here. We need each other! The design is for relationships!
Have you ever heard of arthritis contributing to migraines? My doctor suggested a possible connection on Friday. I do not have joint stifness or pain.
Have a blessed Sunday!
I love forests too. This is one reason I like skiing in the mountains. I also live 20 minutes from the ocean and the beautiful Napa Valley full of vineyards. The trick is to be able to drive to all these places and live where it suits you best. Living in snow, on the ocean, or in an agricultural environment have definite downsides. I live in a suburb north of San Francisco. The foothills of the Sierra would be my first choice place to live.
Arthritis...wow. What does the Lord tell you about this? I have severe allergies and have noticed some discussion here about it. It seems my immune system over reacts. As I age, I notice much more inflammation in general. Is this what your arthritis is about? Cold definitely brings more pain!
I love kids, especially the "inner wounded" ones. Perhaps it is because my kids are doing so well that I can embrace others. I see many adults as carrying inner wounds from very early childhood.
It is a beautiful sunny day here in California and I am about to go watch my 11 year old play football and apply my task from the Lord of spiritual rest...which means today I know that I have asked for protection for my kids and I do not need to continually petition the Lord while watching football and this includes all the other boys my son wallops!
Thanks for your cheery message this morning!
Yes, I received your message. I do not quite know how to navigate this site either yet.
I just enrolled in How to Hear God's Voice class two weeks ago. I searched the web for "Holy Spirit" and got thousands of links, so I added other tag words like "filled" "knowing" "hearing" and found this site. I had to work at this quite hard! I am so desperate to find people who highly value this. I have one friend who does and she is SUCH a blessing!
I am 51 and just finished a bachelor's degree in management in September. I now need some income again! I have many ideas and so does the Lord. So right now my dream activity is to come here in chat and post seeking like minded people while I clean my house!
I have three teen boys, am a single mom, up until a year ago worked full time in a stressful job, and was a full time student at a local college! So my dream day is to do Mark Virkler's course work (what a total joy!) and check my 'puter now and then, and clean!
What I love to do most is about to begin: downhill snow ski. I live in Northern California and in a 3 1/2 hour drive can be swooshing down a dramatic alpine mountain at Lake Tahoe! All my boys snowboard, so this will be our Saturday life soon! They sleepwalk to the car at 4:30 A.M., we go through a drive through for breakfast, ski until we are exhausted, and get home before 8:00 P.M. I credit this intense bonding/talking time for the great relationship I am blessed with with my teens. Do you ski? You have some great skiing near you!
I want to be licensed and ordained here, and then plug away at a Master's in Theology? I have a couple of ministries, one is as an administrator on an online abuse support site, http://jesusheals.informe.com. I post daily prophesy there. The other is a research project on Dissociative Identity Disorder/Multiple Personality Disorder. I am writing my past experience now before I delve into other's research as the first step. Since I do not have a Ph.D. nor am I connected with one, I will most likely write fiction interjecting the fascinating dissociative qualities. I see this as a reason people have trouble connecting with the Lord! They are double minded, switching between several "minds/bodies". If hearing from God can be difficult, imagine how much more so if you are dealing with a fractured self. I think more minor degrees of this are epidemic in our culture.
So nice to meet you! I am inspired to make some earrings from the Coast Redwood tree cones in my yard. They are teeny, isn't that cool that the biggest tree has a teeny cone?. I will send you some if I can pull this off!
