Christians are hungry to see the power of God manifest in signs, healings etc. So they pray for and seek for God's power. But God's word teaches that the answer to manifesting signs, healings etc. is AUTHORITY!

I was awe struck at this Christian TV show, giving the details of 9/11, the 2008 USA financial collapse and connecting it to Isaiah 9 in ways that secular media would never notice. It is amazing to realize that our president even quoted it, having no clue of the spiritual meaning [like the high priest Caiaphas, in Jn 11:50]. It's available online at…

Beverly Brown said… Hi Gloria,
My dream has been recurring for quite some time. My dream is, I am always alone walking down a narrow rocky hill, the areas have become familiiar, because I have visited it so often. When I get to the bottom of the hill I can't find my way and don't know where I am. I usually see people and ask them where I am and they don't answer me. These people are black with soot on their faces and clothes.

Thank you for your welcome.
I look forward to browsing through Koinonia.
God bless you Gloria.
Its good to be here. I'm trying to figure how to link these feeds to my business website and facebook site. In the closing hours of our collective battle against the kingdom of darkness as the Great Day of the Lord Jesus approaches at the rapture of the Church that is very much sooner than anyone can imagine, we all need to link our feeds into a constant network of bombardment of rebuke against the evil and wickedness of this bablylonian world system. We are all standing on the firing line and we are not just holding --- we are pushing forward shoulder to shoulder.
Jesus told Peter that the gates of hell would not prevail. We are the victors and he the gates of hell cannot prevail against us as the Holy Spirit pushes Satan and all the hordes of hell back down the hole in the blessed name and the blood of Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to whom all the kingdoms and tribes of this earth will soon kneel and declare "HE IS LORD!"

Thank you so much for your reply about authority. I use Lord mostly in my conversations with others rather than God or even Jesus. I did not realize this was showing that I was under His authority. Maybe my Spirit knows :). However, those are encouraging words as my husband has said a number of times that I do not like authority. I do "expect" (a word I'm that puts fear in me) alot out of "authority" figurers. However, as I get older I've become less judgemental and fearful of those in authority and ask God to let me submit myself unto them as I would unto Him, believing He has placed them in my life. Thankfully these last years he has placed secular authorities in my life that I have liked and it has been easy to submit. HOwever, within in the church that is a diffirent story. I find myselof not wanting to "belong" to a church because I don't want to be "under authority". I want to find the "perfect" church before I do that. Of course you know what they say, when I find that church and I join It won't be perfect anymore :).
Right now I am in the process of deciding about changing churches. My husband doesn't really care. He tends toward the CAtholic church (in which we were both raised) but says he doesn't like to go to church. He does like the reverence of the Catholic Mass and seems to find comfort there. I think confession is important to him and the confidentiality of a Priest. Thankfully he has never requested or insisted I go back to the CAtholic church and has let me go my way, occasionally attending where ever I go. He does like the teaching of the current church I attend and has stuck with the small group that we meet with. This is a miracle for me. We've been married 38 years in December and never really had a group of Christian friends together. HOwever, I tend toward wanting to be in a church that believes in the gifts of the Holy Spirit being for now ie healings, tongues, miracles. HOwever, the Berean church has helped me understand the Word within context.
My husband does not like all the "hoop-law" of the praise and worship and says he likes the old traditional hymns and songs like the Ave Maria which is beautful but mainly sung at Christmas. I don't think it is that he worships Mary. It's not necessarily the words but it's the sound of the music. He is very much a music person and has much more of an ear for music than I do. But for me worship is the most important part of attending church and meeting with others. The pastor of the church had said we are singing to one another. I had never thought of it that way; more that I was worshiping God. But if I do think of it that way it is a beautiful way of encouraging one another.
Well, I have been going on and on so I better close. Is there a way on the computer one can check for spelling?:)
Again, I hope you have a very blessed day!

If you are getting my comments I do have a question related to your comment of Oct. 26. When you say under authority could you explain this authority.
Thank you

Jennifer Streeter said… Hi Gloria,
I can see I'm not alone after reading other's comments regarding getting started. YOu welcomed me in February and now it is almost February again. This has been a good way for me to see where I've been and how I may have possibly gotten off track in my pursuit of prayer, intersecory (is there a quick way of checking spelling for my comments on the wall?) and especially hearing from God.
Thank you for your welcome. I pray you are blessed in many ways today and that you know more and more how much the Lord loves you. Thank you for your ministering.
