Recently, the Lord gave me this word for the class I am teaching in our church. We are studying John & Stasi Eldredge's book, Captivating. This word came out of Isaiah 62:3-4. As I spoke it to the women, the Holy Spirit prompted me to begin inserting the names of each woman in the class in different places. His presence was so powerful in that room! - A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here
- I live in Virginia with my husband, Bob. We recently opened a neighborhood coffee shop, called Jabo's right across the street from our church. It's a great little place with lots of atmosphere, delicious coffee and awesome fellowship. It's truly become a gathering place for all kinds of people and we believe it's an avenue for ministry in many ways.
I am also a member of our worship team at church. I play the keyboard and sing. I love to teach and am involved in teaching ins several formats from helping kids with reading, to teaching piano, Bible studies and women's groups.
We have a grown daughter who lives in San Diego, CA, and works as a sports photographer. She is such a blessing to me and I miss her so much, but I'm very proud of her.
