Profile Information

A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here
Very early I knew God had a purpose for my life. My personal vision is to fulfill the Commandment to love the Lord God and my neighbor with all my heart, mind, soul and compassion. It is my desire to serve the Lord God as a mere instrument to help my fellow man, woman, and or child. Together, we can strengthen both God’s earthy and Heavenly kingdoms. I am the Founder and Director of Praying Touch Outreach Ministries which is a non-profit ministry. Praying Touch Outreach Ministry’s mission is to spiritually encouragement teenagers and young adults that are trying to cope with life adversities such as, depression, anxiety, fear and anger. Praying Touch Outreach Ministries also has ,"Adopt a Grandparent" is to honor senior citizens in nursing homes who does not have family or friends to love them on birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mother and Father Day, anniversaries etc. The only thing this ministry solicits is people to love and serve. God has entrusted this vision to me so I am leaning on His direction. We do not have to do great things, just simple things for a great God. As a footnote, I am a Minister, Board Certified Christian Counselor, member of International Board of Christian Counselors, and American Association of Christian Counselors. I received Doctorate of Theology from Christian Leadership Univ.in 2006,1979 University of Alabama a MPA (Public Administration Service Fellow) and
1978 Miles College a BA in Political Science; Magna Cum Laude . I retired from the Department of Defense (Civilian ) after 23 years in 2007. I personally suffered and continue to do so with depression for over 45 years. I am in the process of editing my book titled, "Pen to Paper- Going into the Wilderness". Last but not least , I have been married over 30 years. I have been blessed with two exceptional children (ages 23 and 29) and four beautiful granddaughters. I am still waiting for a grandson.

Despite all I have been through, the Lord is still showing me favor by placing a Hedge of Protection around my family and friends. When you feel broken, remember just one touch you shall be whole.

“If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.” (Matthew 9:21) (KJV)

Blessings to all,
Linda

Hi Linda
Thanx for inviting me as a friend.God has really blessed you...no wonder the enemy is 'trying' to bring you down with depression! But if you stand firm upon His word that 'Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!!' In all these things you are more than a conquerer!! May the joy of the Lord continue to be your strength!

Hello Linda. You are welcome. My, what a wonderful profilel you have. I am retired from full time ministry but I am still active in our church and now have more time to pray and study then before. Most of my study has been about worship. It's an area that is not usually taught in Seminaries or Bible schools! While I have always been a worshiper in Spirit and truth I felt there was more. So, I asked The Holy Spirit to teach me how to really worship in Spirit and truth and for the past few years He has been doing just that. It has been a wonderful journey the way He has led me along with various authors, music and personal experiences with Himself. I am believing that I can become so full of His Presence that it will draw others to Him. Tommy Tenny calls this,"Presence evangelism." The Communion with God course is truly amazing and enhanced my dialoging with God greatly. That was about 20 years ago when I first met Mark and the video course which I later taught for about 15 years in our adult bible school. It was our foundational course. It's a wonderful life for those of us who know The LIfe Himself! Not to be able to converse with Him is about the worse thing that could ever happen! I love the old song, "In The Garden." It says it all! In Him is hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and I need it all the time. I'm so glad it is available and He is willing to give it. We will talk more later. I will pray for your area of need that you mentioned.

Hi Linda
What a beautiful profile you have! I have not had time to write mine yet.
I was saved in 1957 on a High School Tour to Washington, New York.
I chose an "optional" outing and went to see Billy Graham at Madison Square Gardens. I gave my life to the Lord at 17 yrs of age. Life and it's cares went on
and at 21 yrs I found myself out in the world with all its sin.
On Dec 10, 1983, I had an overwhelming private visit from Jesus. His Love was so
great that I repented and gave Him my life, forever. I have had so many
adventures with the Holy Spirit that when I try and write something I find it
hard to get it condensed.
I am an Apostolic Intercessor, and I serve the Lord and bring his
"Healing Power" into individual's hearts and into the Nations. We work
with healing and deliverance in areas of childhood memories known and unknown. I have recently discovered Dr. Virkler and was quite excited
to find such wonderful Holy Spirit filled teachings! I have two small groups
working the DVD's and workbook "Know how to hear God's Voice".
Our work is with adult's of childhood abuse. I am excited to hear you are
a Prayer Warrior, too. I am looking forward to being your friend.
