Profile Information

A little bit About Myself, and Why I'm Here: Myra-Nicole Masauli is a Blantyre born, raised and based TV and Radio broadcaster who has worked with different media and non-media organizations including Capital Radio Malawi Limited as a producer, news anchor, trainer, editor, Head of Music as well as Director of Programs among others.
Myra-Nicole, better known as Nicole Masauli, was introduced to Radio almost seventeen years ago as an adolescent working with organizations such as MBC, FM101 and Capital Radio, during which time she was trained by the BBC among other organizations.
A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling and a Masters in Ministry with US based Christian Leadership University; her immediate future goal is to pursue a PhD with the same institution.
She has three music albums to her credit, Viva la Musica, Heavenly (a project whose proceeds go to the missions ministry at Word Alive Ministries International where she has been a member for over five years and her latest being Edify, which saw the birth of a new ministry Edify (Music) Ministry.
The music is distributed for free, and the group among other things ministers in Churches, schools, weddings and other special events at no cost. Their main target is the youth. If it is not yet apparent, 25 year old Nicole is a Christian. Currently she is serving on the board of governors for Network For Youth Development.
Born on April the 17th in 1984, she has worked with organizations such as The British Council (as co-host of their leadership program-InterAction on TV Malawi, the Voice of America (where she was the country coordinator for their Youth Aids Awareness Africa outreach), National Youth Council as a coordinating officer for a movement known as Stars Aware-where people in the limelight were used to advocate for VCT and behavior change among youth in Malawi, Action Aid as a researcher on a project dubbed “Hunger Free Women” aimed at bringing political attention to the issue of hunger in relation to women as it was concluded that women and children are the most affected by the challenge.
Apart from describing herself as a poet, artist, music minister and loyal friend, she likes to consider herself a humanitarian. Her mission and vision statements read:
“To love the Lord, my God with my heart, mind, soul and strength, and my neighbor as myself.”
“I am establishing a higher concept of living. A life of love and full consideration for other human beings so I shall be able to look upon life as a hard day’s work: well done and satisfactory”
Currently, she is working with The Malawi Bridge Project as a Radio Diary producer, traveling extensively throughout the country interviewing people living with HIV and helping them tell their story through these electronic diaries broadcast on radio stations such as Capital Radio. They aim to give hope and a voice to other people affected or infected by HIV with the core message: You are not alone, and there is life after HIV.

I went to Mayo clinic this month, my local clinic wanted to do a biopsy on my breast, mayo's equipment was so much better they could tell it was just a cyst. Praise the Lord! I have been telling all my girl friends to go to Mayo clinic before you get a biopsy done, it saved me a lot of pain and about 3500.00 medical bill. I wasn't worried, I had the peace that passes understanding, but it was still a blessing to know they agreed.

I thought it might be helpful at times to talk amoungst ourselves, and pray together without those in the healing rooms knowing about it. Not that we would be hiding anything, but more along the lines of praying that God would use us together as a team, and reveal things to each of us and use the others to confirm, and just more a unified team of people who know each other, trust each other, and love each other, to support those we are minstering to, together.
