Teboho,

I am praying for your church situation.  I am sorry I was unable to answer you yesterday, I was away from the computer.  I am interested to know how the day went.  It is my belief that the enemy is not really concerned about the women and the head coverings, but that he is just trying to keep the women out of ministry all together, and trying to keep the offended.  In that way the church will not have as many workers, and the ones who are offended will have a bad attitude, which will damage their walk with Jesus.  I am praying that the enemy not be able to stir up offense in your church, and binding up the plan of the enemy to stop the women from ministering.  I am also praying for the Lord to pour out a spirit of unity over your church.

This head covering issue is really a minor point, and when the enemy stirs up people to make it such a big deal it is the enemies desire to trip us up, so that we cannot deal with the big issues we are called to deal with.

Thank you for keeping me informed of your situation.

Jeana

Teboho,

You are welcome to ask me questions, I may not always have the answers, but that is part of the growth experience.  Where in Africa are you located?  I have had a heavy burden for Northern Africa especially lately, and the Middle East.  I pray for peace for Israel and all of the Middle East.  If you would like prayer on specific things you can let me know.  I have a retired pastor and his wife that I pray with, and if you don't mind I will share your prayer requests with them, and the three of us will agree together in prayer fo your needs.

Thanks,

Jeana

Dear Teboho,

My personal belief on this subject is that it is very personal, and individual.  I do not wear head covering when I pray, or when I minister. I do not feel guilty about not wearing head covering.  I have read and reread the scriptures and I have prayed and asked the Lord to guide me on this very issue.  I am not saying that I have perfect understanding of every aspect of this issue, however, I personally believe that, during this end time harvest, it is so greatly important for us to be able to minister to humans, both male and female, that we don't want to offend them in any way, and the whole head covering subject can be a stumbling block to people getting saved.  The Scripture indicates that the head covering is stop angels from being tempted by the light that shines through the ministering women.  So, I have personally asked for a SPIRITUAL head covering.  One that cannot be seen in the natural, and does not hinder people from being ministered to, and yet protects the ministering angels at the same time.

Now, you may ask if I have Biblical proof that this is possible.  The answer is that the Lord said we would do greater things because he has gone to be with the Father, and I believe this is one of the greater works.  It stands to reason that if the problem is in the spirit realm, and we were instructed to wear head covering to prevent something in the spirit realm, than there should be a remedy for it also in the spirit realm.

Now, the way I brought this to operation in my own life, is that I simply asked the Lord to provide me with spiritual head covering that would protect the angels, and allow me to minister unhindered.  I accepted the head covering, and acknowledged it out loud, by faith.  The result is that I now walk in peace, and minister in peace.

I would recommend that you and your wife pray about this and ask the Lord to provide you with your specific answer to this problem.
