An International Fellowship of Spirit-Empowered Believers

Well blogs are a good way to get to know people, so I'll give it a shot...Most of my background with being a Spirit-Empowered Believer has been in the charismatic/pentecostal movements as I was saying in my profile. Over the years I have experienced the prophetic/renewal/apostolic/and 24-7 worship and prayer movements as well. Right now I'm not sure what I would consider myself to be apart of in terms of a movement. I have also done some research regarding the house church movement, but my heart is still to be as close to local churches as possible.

The end-times are an area where I have been changed by God in a significant way. The best way to describe me would be someone who views the church as being victorious in context to the events prophesied to happen leading up to the return of Christ. They include the great harvest of souls including signs and wonders, the temporal judgements of God, the falling way, and a whole hearted passionate bride who is victorious in love even unto death.

This approach has strengthened my conviction of the finished work of the cross, but I don't see it in terms of how some who unfortunately preach victory isolated from persecution and defeat would see it. I don't say that to be mean, I'm just not ready to forsake holiness and God's justice in reaction to the more negative or religious way that we have been led to believe in the eschatalogical events. My faith is apostolic in nature, yet there isn't alot of the same vision, principles, and values currently being taught along with the restoration of apostolic ministry. I like to say that we know alot about apostolic ministry, just not alot about apostolic Christianity.
