Have you ever seen a plant growing from a crack in a rock, or a rock eroded away by water? The rock is dense and hard, but the plant will win a foothold and eventually split the rock. The rock resists by inertia, but it cannot overcome the force of life. Even so I told my disciples that they could speak to a mountain and cast it into the sea if they believed. Do you face obstacles in your life that seem as large and hard and unmovable as mountains? If even the grass of the field which is here today and gone tomorrow is able to overcome a stone, how much more is my spiritual life within you able to overcome any obstacle.
