Adults put a great deal of study into the thought processes of children, that they may understand how their minds work in order to teach them. Yet were they not children themselves only a few years ago? But the understanding of a child’s thought process does not remain in adults automatically. In my word I say that unless you be converted and become as little children you shall not enter the kingdom of God. I spoke this to adults who had already been children, but they could not return to this state by their own efforts. So it is with the new birth into the Kingdom of God, that you must be born again, but cannot accomplish this yourself. Blessed are those who come to me to be born of the Spirit, and become childlike in their faith.
