A statesman said we have nothing to fear but fear itself. Do you see fear as an evil, sinful thing in its own right? My word says that the fearful and unbelieving are outside of my holy city, and lists these ahead of things that you think of as conventional sins. Regard fear in the same way you would adultery or murder. Resist the temptation to offer sympathy to the fearful, or to accept it within yourself. Giving in to fear leads to torment and paralysis, but I give peace to those who repent of it. Overcome evil with good, and fear with peace and love, for he who is perfected in love has no fear.
