mental humility

Do you have assumptions and thought patterns that prevent you from understanding the truth? Are you able to accurately describe yours? Most people are subject to these things, yet are also blind to them, so they hold them without realizing them. Yours will have less power over you if you are aware of them. I criticized the Pharisees for being blind guides. Others asked if they were blind also. It may seem strange that they would not know, but false certainty is an insidious trap. I made a great promise in view of these things, that you could know the truth, and be free. Examine your patterns of thinking and acquire the habit of mental humility if you would be truly wise.
