When I say..."I am a Christian
When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not saying, "I’m so great!"
I’m whispering, "I was so lost." “Till Jesus came my way.”
When I say..."I am a Christian," I don't say those words in pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble, and need God to be my guide.
When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not saying “I’m so strong.”
I'm professing in my weakness, “God gives strength to carry on.”
When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success;
I'm admitting I’ve so often failed, but Jesus paid my debt.
When I say..."I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws may be quite visible, but God tells me I'm worth it.
When I say..."I am a Christian," It is not for lack of pain.
I’ve had my share of heartaches, but find healing in HIS name.
When I say..."I am a Christian," I’m not standing as your judge.
For that I have no right. I only know that “God is love”.

I really like your poem. It is so beautiful and so pointing to Jesus and such a great way to let those who don't know Jesus become attacted to Him!!
Thanks for sharing.
