Work for Jesus

Do you do your best work for your boss? Are you aware that you are really working for me? My word warns against eye-service for the purpose of pleasing men. Do you view it as a burden to be called to a higher level of diligence? Yet isn’t it more satisfying and rewarding to be engaged and productive than to just appear to be that way? Isn’t it easier as well? I invite all those who labor and are heavy laden to come to me, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. This principle applies if you are working for me in a secular job for wages as much as anything else you do for me.
